ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) - A Carnegie man has pleaded guilty to
first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of his cousin.
Twenty-two-year-old Devin Kyle Brewster entered the plea
Wednesday in Caddo County District Court. He admitted he shot
28-year-old Jason Brewster in the head in Carnegie last April.
Brewster said he accidentally shot his cousin while holding a
.40 caliber handgun about a foot from his head.
Brewster is to be sentenced June 23 and District Attorney Bret
Burns says he'll ask for a 25-year prison term.
