OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police have identified the
man who was hit by a truck and dragged for more than a mile before
being hit by a second car.
Sgt. Gary Knight says 56-year-old Robert Hayes was killed about
8:45 p.m. Friday and police are still looking for the driver who
first hit him.
Knight says Hayes was a transient who was apparently laying in
the street when he was first hit by a green, 1997 Dodge Dakota.
Police say they don't know why Hayes was in the street.
