Miami police officer hospitalized after being shot
MIAMI, Okla. (AP) - A shootout in northeast Oklahoma has left a
Miami police officer and a man both hospitalized in Joplin, Mo.
Police say the shooting took place in northwest Miami about 8:30
p.m. Tuesday after officers arrived at an apartment complex to
investigate a domestic disturbance. Police say when the officers
arrived a man pointed a shotgun at them and exchanged gunfire with
