Coach accused of exposing self, groping girls
COYLE, Okla. (AP) - A teacher and girls basketball coach in the
Coyle school district has been charged with exposing himself and
groping eight teenage girls.
Thirty-seven-year-old Stacey Ray Brewer of Coyle is charged in
Logan County with indecent exposure and lewd acts to a child under
age 16. He is currently free on $10,000 bond and has been suspended
with pay by the district pending the outcome of the case.
He did not return phone calls seeking comment.
Brewer was initially charged Feb. 5 after a girl said he exposed
himself to her on a school bus and tried to give her his telephone
Interim Superintendent Josh Sumrall says Brewer taught social
studies and coached at the school for four years.
