Okla. woman will not be charged in man's death
EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) - A prosecutor in McIntosh County says no charges will be filed against a woman who shot and killed a man.
Assistant District Attorney Greg Stidham says 29-year-old Christian Camp was justified in shooting 26-year-old T.C. Martin early Sunday because he was assaulting her. Martin was killed about 4:20 a.m. Sunday outside Camp's home near Eufaula.
Stidham says Camp had needed help from bouncers at a club to get away from Martin earlier in the evening and that he showed up at her home while she was in bed.
Stidham says Camp grabbed a gun and tried to run to her car, then shot Martin when he confronted her.
