Federal agency to investigate fatal oil site blast
WELEETKA, Okla. (AP) - The U.S. Chemical Safety Board is
investigating a tank explosion at an oil site in Weleetka that
killed one person.
CSB officials announced Wednesday that the 21-year-old victim
died of burns from the April 14 blast and fire.
Deputies last week said two people were injured, one critically,
but their names weren't released.

The Chemical Safety Board investigates industrial chemical
accidents but doesn't issue citations or fines.
It does make safety recommendations to plants, industry
organizations, labor groups and regulatory agencies.
