Small earthquake recorded in central Oklahoma
JONES, Okla. (AP) - A magnitude 3.1 earthquake has been recorded
near Jones in central Oklahoma.
No injuries or damage are reported.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded the quake just before 7:45
a.m. Friday about 15 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
Researchers say quakes of 2.5 to 3.0 magnitude quakes are
typically the smallest felt by humans.
