Cleanup was under way in Medina County after dozens of homes
received flood damage, and more rain was expected across the state
The Red Cross in San Antonio was assisting residents of an
estimated 40-60 homes in the rural Quihi community, according to a
statement from Medina County officials.
Six volunteers and three vehicles were on the scene, but
progress was slow due to barely passable roads.
Meanwhile, Dewitt County officials resumed their search for a
17-year-old Cuero boy who went missing Friday afternoon while
swimming with friends. Their search had been hampered by powerful
thunderstorms, the San Antonio Express-News reported.
