Ex-Okla., Texas, TV weather forecaster dies

ALTUS, Okla. (AP) - A former Oklahoma and Texas television
weather meteorologist has been found dead in a partially submerged
boat on a lake in southwestern Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 62-year-old Edmund David
Wallace of Lawton was found Sunday in the boat in Tom Steed
Reservoir in Kiowa County.
Trooper George Hoyle says Wallace was last seen fishing alone
about 11 a.m. Sunday. Another fisherman reported the boat drifting
about 3 p.m. before it was swamped and partially submerged.
Hoyle says the body has been sent to the state medical examiner
to determine the cause of death.
Wallace worked at KWSO-TV in Lawton and at KAUZ-TV in Wichita
Falls, Texas.
