Oklahoma law enforcement authorities say they are looking at suspects in the deaths of two girls two years after they were fatally shot, but they still need the public's help in solving the crime.
Investigators and family members of the victims gathered in
rural Okfuskee County todday to remember 13-year-old Taylor
Paschal-Placker and 11-year-old Skyla Jade Whitaker, who were found
shot to death June 8, 2008 along a dirt road near Weleetka.
No arrests have been made yet, but Oklahoma State Bureau of
Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the case is being
actively investigated. Additional details about the suspects have yet to be released to the public.
A reward of more than $163,000 is being offered for any information, District Attorney Max Cook urges anyone with information to contact his office or the OSBI.
