TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The National Weather Service is extending an
excessive heat warning for parts of eastern Oklahoma and western
The weather service in Tulsa on Sunday extended the excessive
heat advisory until 7 p.m. Tuesday for 25 counties in eastern
Oklahoma and three in western Arkansas. A heat advisory is in
effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday in northwestern Arkansas.
The weather service also canceled the heat advisory for
northeastern Arkansas, and a flood warning for the Cache (cash)
River was issued. The service said the river was at 10.6 feet
Sunday morning with a flood stage of 8 feet.
