Ada City Council approves design for new airport terminal building

ADA, OK -- Construction could soon get underway on a new $1.2 million airport terminal building in Ada.

Monday night, the Ada City Council unanimously approved the project.

City Manager, Cody Holcomb, says the city received a $500,000 grant from the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission along with other funds from Ada Jobs Foundation, and the city.

Plans for the 4,500 square foot terminal include a pilots lounge, restaurant capable space, and administrative offices.
