HODGEN, Okla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a minimum-security prison in eastern Oklahoma.
Prison officials tell Tulsa television station KOTV that 51-year-old Curtis Gibson was last seen at 3:45 p.m. Monday during a headcount. He was being held at the Jim Hamilton Correctional Center in Le Flore County.
Officials say Gibson was serving time out of Oklahoma County on a conviction of failure to comply with sex offender registration.
Gibson stands 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs about 270 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
