NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - The University of Oklahoma says fans can bring seat cushions and chair backs into the stadium as the Sooners open their season against Louisiana-Monroe.
Initially, the school said it had changed procedures and would prohibit fans from bringing the cushions and chair backs into the stadium. But OU President David Boren said Friday that planned changes for the 2013 season are under review and will not be in place Saturday.
The university says construction on Interstate 35 will affect fans traveling to the stadium. A map of alternate routes is available on OU's website.
Kickoff is 6 p.m. Saturday.
