VIAN, Okla. (AP) - A series of eagle viewing tours is set at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge near Vian in eastern Oklahoma.

The tours start Jan. 19 and focus on an eagle pair that is incubating two eggs that were laid the week of Dec. 9. The eggs typically incubate 35 days before hatching. The eagles spend about 12 works giving constant care to their young.

The Southwest Times Record reports the tours are set for Jan. 19 and 26, Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23 and March 2. The tours run from 9 a.m. to noon and start at the refuge headquarters near Vian.

Participants can view the eagles from a heated bus. The tours begin by viewing a live video feed from cameras mounted at an active eagle nest.
