Ex-Okla. teacher facing porn charges to enter plea

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) - A former third-grade teacher and a former college professor have formally pleaded not guilty to child pornography charges.

Former McLoud teacher Kimberly Ann Crain of Shawnee and retired professor Gary Doby of Bloomsburg, Pa., entered the pleas Wednesday in Pottawatomie County District Court.

District Judge John Canavan Jr. said a trial date will be set during an Aug. 7 hearing in the case.

Prosecutors allege Crain took photos of as many as 14 young girls while they were changing clothes in her classroom and at her home - then shared the images with Doby.

Both face 18 counts of sexual exploitation of a child under 12, one count of conspiracy to commit sexual exploitation and one count of lewd molestation. Crain also faces 11 counts of possession of juvenile pornography.
