Fishing Boat Capsizes

PONCA CITY, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say one man is dead and another missing after their boat capsized on Kaw Lake in northeast Oklahoma.

Crews resumed their search Tuesday for the missing man, 32-year-old Joseph Dean Shrader of Ponca City. Authorities say three men took their boat out after dark Sunday to check their jug lines used for fishing.

The Ponca City News reports that the boat hit a sandbar and capsized. Authorities recovered the body of 19-year-old Andres Ernest Woodring Jr. of Kaw City.

A third man who survived told authorities that he and Woodring held onto a floating ice chest but that they were separated.
