HODGEN, Okla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for an inmate who escaped from a prison in eastern Oklahoma.
Tulsa television station KOTV reports that inmate Mark Bennett was reported missing from Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Facility at about 9 a.m. Friday.
Prison officials say Bennett began serving a 10-year prison sentence in August for possession of cocaine, attempting to elude and destruction of property. He's described as a white male, standing 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
The Department of Corrections says Bennett has several tattoos, including ones of a skull and a dragon.
