DUNCAN, Okla. (AP) - The girlfriend of an Australian baseball player killed in Oklahoma visited a makeshift memorial Tuesday but a relative says she has no plans to attend a court hearing for three teenagers detained in the slaying.

Sarah Harper says a relative made a wooden cross for the makeshift memorial in honor of her boyfriend, 22-year-old Christopher Lane. Flowers, photos and an Australian flag adorn the roadside in tribute to Lane, who came to the United States to play baseball at East Central University in Ada.

Harper's cousin, Tara Harper, says the family is still in talks with the Lanes about funeral arrangements. Tara Harper says Sarah Harper did not plan to attend Tuesday's initial court appearance for the three teens arrested in Lane's shooting death.
