Marlow Republican won't seek another term

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Marlow Republican Corey Holland says he won't seek another two-year term in office.

The 42-year-old educator said Thursday he plans to resign his seat at the end of the session and take a job as principal of Cache High School.

Holland had represented the District 51 seat in south-central Oklahoma for four years. The district includes portions of Grady, McLain and Stephens counties.

Holland taught at Marlow Public Schools for 14 years and says he plans to go back to his "true calling" of working with students.
