Masked man brandishing gun robs Norman motel

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Police in Norman are searching for a man who robbed a motel at gunpoint.

Norman police say the robbery happened at about 9:30 p.m. Monday at a Motel 6. Police say a man walked into the motel and demanded money from the clerk. Authorities say the robber was holding a silver gun.

Norman police say the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities are still searching for the suspect. He's described as a white man in his mid-20s with blonde hair and a tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a dark jacket with the hood pulled up, dark jeans and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information is asked to call Norman police.
