OKLAHOMA CITY,OK (AP) - The state medical examiner's office says a Blanchard woman who was found dead last month was stabbed to death.
A spokeswoman for the medical examiner also says that Jaymie Adams suffered blunt force trauma to the head and that her death has been classified as a homicide.
Adams' husband, 25-year-old Justin Adams, has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, though he hasn't been formally charged yet. Justin Adams' attorney says his client denies any involvement in the crime.
Adams had reported his wife missing Dec. 10 - first telling police that she had gone to meet a friend and later saying she was a prostitute who was to meet a client.
Jaymie Adams' body was found Jan. 7 along a motorcycle trail in southeast Oklahoma City.
