MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (AP) - A memorial service is planned for a Tinker Air Force Base sergeant who was killed in a plane crash last month in Afghanistan.

A memorial is set for 10 a.m. Monday at Rose State College Performing Arts Center for Staff Sgt. Daniel N. Fannin. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery with full military honors.

Fannin was one of four men killed in the crash of a U.S. Air Force MC-12 on April 27 near Kandahar Airfield. The Defense Department is still investigating the cause of the crash. There were no reports of enemy activity in the area at the time.

Fannin joined the Air Force in 2001 after graduating high school in Morehead, Ky.
