WEATHERFORD, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there were no injuries when a small airplane made a forced landing on a baseball field in western Oklahoma.
OHP Capt. George Brown says troopers were on the scene following the incident shortly after noon Wednesday in Weatherford.
Television images from KWTV show a small plane sitting upright in the outfield of the baseball field at Rader Park on the city's east side.
Brown says the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified of the accident. An FAA spokesman did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
