OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Police say a tour bus connected to a musical group performing in Oklahoma City was stopped early Thursday and several people were arrested hours later.
Oklahoma City police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow says the bus was stopped around midnight near Interstate 40 and Meridian Avenue because of an illegal taillight.
She says there was immediate evidence of drug use and the bus' driver was arrested. But other people on the bus refused to leave, and the bus was towed to a nearby training facility and a search warrant was obtained.
Wardlow says several people were arrested at about 9 a.m. Thursday on a charge of interfering with official process.
Wardlow could not specify how many people were arrested or provide their names or say which musical act was involved.
