OKC police seek man who crashed car into crowd

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police are searching for a driver who crashed his car into a crowd gathered outside of a nightclub.

Police say up to 10 people were struck by the car early Thursday but no one was seriously injured. The accident happened at about 2 a.m. when the Oklahoma City club Cowboys was closing.

Police tell Oklahoma City television station KOCO that they don't know why the man drove the car into the crowd. Police say the man ran away after the crash.

Authorities say three women were pinned between two cars at one point but they escaped serious injury.

The car was impounded and detectives say they will use Department of Motor Vehicles records to identify the car's owner.
