LANGSTON, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has joined the investigation into the shooting death of a man in Langston.
The agency says it was contacted by Langston police for assistance in looking into the death of 50-year-old Michael DeWayne Milton.
The OSBI says Milton was killed while apparently trying to steal a car from outside a home Friday night. Agents say the homeowner tried to stop Milton from taking the car and was hanging from a side window as Milton drove away when another man who lived at the home shot and killed Milton.
The OSBI says there have been no arrests and did not release the names of the two men who lived at the home.
