OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities say an off-duty Oklahoma City firefighter has been killed in a single-vehicle crash.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash occurred Sunday morning on Interstate 240 in Oklahoma City. Officials say firefighter Joshua Kidd was driving home to Moore after his shift when he lost control of his truck and crashed.
Kidd was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 31.
A preliminary report says speed and wet road conditions likely contributed to the crash.
Officials say Kidd had worked for the Oklahoma City Fire Department since 2007.
