Okla. City police release name of woman found dead
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma City police have released the name of a woman found dead in a home and say homicide is suspected.
Police said Monday that the body found Saturday is that of 57-year-old Shelia Stanley. Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow says officers found the body after being asked to conduct a welfare check at the home in southwest Oklahoma City.
Wardlow says Stanley had trauma to the body that makes investigators suspect homicide. The body has been sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
Wardlow says there have been no arrests or suspects identified in the case.
