OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Transportation Commission will consider a $7.5 million contract to build a new interchange at the state's largest casino in southern Oklahoma.

The commission is expected to vote Monday on a contract to build the north half of the new interchange at Interstate 35 and the Winstar Casino near Thackerville. The project is being funded by the Chickasaw Nation.

The commission also will receive a report on the deployment of Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews and heavy equipment to help clear storm debris from streets and highways following tornadoes that hit Moore, Shawnee and Carney.

ODOT Director Mike Patterson also will highlight some of the department's major June projects, including the I-40 reconstruction in Canadian County and a new I-244 bridge over the Arkansas River in Tulsa.
