OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Officials with several public safety-related Oklahoma agencies will be presenting budget details to state legislators.

Directors of nine separate state agencies are scheduled to testify on Tuesday before the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety and Judiciary.

With lawmakers projected to have about $170 million less to spend on the upcoming fiscal year's budget, agencies have been instructed to prepare budgets based on projected cuts of 3 percent and 5 percent.

Among the agencies expected to appear before the committee Tuesday morning are the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Pardon and Parole Board, the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training and the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs.

Five other agencies are scheduled to testify in the afternoon.
