OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Six more flu deaths have been reported in Oklahoma in the past week.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported the additional deaths Thursday.
The agency says 14 people have died in Oklahoma so far this flu season.
Of the recent deaths, three were reported in Comanche County. Cleveland, Oklahoma and Pittsburg each reported one new death.
The health department says those 65 and older have been hit hardest by the flu. Ten of the state's 14 deaths happened to people 65 or older.
The state has reported a total of 611 flu-related hospitalizations this season. That's nearly double the 316 hospitalizations reported last season.
