OKLAHOMA CITY,OK. (AP) - Authorities say an Oklahoma City woman wasn't seriously injured after she fell three stories off a balcony and crashed into a car's windshield while trying to coax her cat inside.

Police say the fall happened late Monday at the Crown Martin Park Apartments in Oklahoma City. Police say the woman survived the fall but suffered a broken leg. According to Oklahoma City television station KWTV, the woman landed on the car's windshield, which shattered.

The woman has not been identified.

Police say the woman's cat got out and she fell over the side of the balcony trying to retrieve it. The cat survived.
