Oklahoma oilman to serve as Romney energy adviser

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Billionaire oilman Harold Hamm says he will serve as an energy adviser to Mitt Romney's campaign for president.

Hamm tells the Tulsa World (http://is.gd/51z8DU) he's joining the campaign because he supports Romney's goal for "cheap, plentiful energy for the American economy."

Hamm is president of Continental Resources, which is moving its headquarters from Enid to Oklahoma City. The Romney campaign says Hamm will serve as chairman of an advisory group that will help the consult the campaign on energy policy.

Oklahoma holds its presidential primary on Tuesday.
