TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say a police officer at Tulsa International Airport opened fire on a car in the parking lot of a hotel adjacent to the airport's main terminal building.
Police are still searching for the car's driver, who allegedly attempted to run over the police officer. Authorities say the incident happened at about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a Hilton Garden Inn, which is on airport property.
It's not yet known whether the man was struck by the officer's gunfire.
The incident has not affected air traffic at the airport.
