Police: Tulsa mom dies as man steals her minivan

TULSA, OK. (AP) - Police say a Tulsa woman was killed as she fought with a man who was reportedly trying to steal her minivan early Friday morning.

Police say the 45-year-old woman started her minivan at about 5:30 a.m. Friday and went back inside her home. Police tell Tulsa television station KOTV that the woman apparently heard someone opening her minivan door, so she went back outside.

Police say the woman struggled with the man who was reportedly trying to steal her van. During the scuffle, the woman was pushed out of the van and onto the ground. Police say the man backed over the woman, killing her instantly, as he drove off in her minivan.

The van has been recovered but no one has been arrested yet.
