OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An alleged prison gang leader accused of killing a prostitute featured on HBO's "Cathouse" series and three other people is set to appear before an Oklahoma County judge for a preliminary hearing.

Investigators say 34-year-old Denny Phillips helped plan the 2009 deaths and told friends he was involved. Friday's hearing will determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence to try him for first-degree murder.

Killed were 22-year-old Brooke Phillips, who had worked as a prostitute at the legal brothel Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, Nev., that was featured on HBO. She wasn't related to Denny Phillips. The other victims were 22-year-old Milagros Barrera, 25-year-old Jennifer Ermey and 32-year-old Casey Mark Barrientos.

In May, 31-year-old David Tyner pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the case and drew a life sentence.
