TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a man charged in the Aug. 30 slayings of two people found dead in the parking lot of a Tulsa church.
The Tulsa World reports that police arrested 27-year-old Joel Rosales Pina on Tuesday. He's charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shootings of 27-year-old Patrick Shawn and 24-year-old Kaylyn Kosofsky, whose bodies were found in the parking lot of RiverGate Church.
A court affidavit claims that Pina offered to pay thousands of dollars to whomever "takes care of" Shawn.
Pina was booked in the Tulsa jail late Tuesday on two first-degree murder charges. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
Another man, 25-year-old Zane Corbett Atchison, was arrested last fall and charged with first-degree murder.
