U. of Okla. regents to meet, tuition on agenda

ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) - The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents is to meet to discuss tuition and the university's 2014 budget.

The regents are to meet Monday and Wednesday at the in Ardmore as part of a three day meeting and retreat.

The meeting is to begin Monday with regents considering items from Cameron University and Rogers State University followed by discussion of OU's budget, tuition and fees and the coming year's housing rates.

OU President David Boren has announced plans not to raise tuition for in-state students and to adopt a flat-rate tuition fee for students carrying 12 to 21 credit hours per semester in which students would pay for 15 credit hours but could enroll in up to 21 hours.

The regents are to adjourn Monday and resume the meeting Wednesday.
