Winchester scores high marks at Oklahoma pro day

NORMAN, OK. (AP) - Deep snapper James Winchester put on some of the best performances to outshine some better-known players at Oklahoma's pro day.

Winchester had the best marks during Wednesday's workout session in the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill and 60-yard shuttle. He ran the 40 in 4.58 seconds, logged a vertical jump of 38 inches and a broad jump of 11 feet, 5½ inches.

All-American receiver Ryan Broyles and cornerback Jamell Fleming were at the pro day to get their height, weight and other measurements done but did not participate in testing. Defender Ronnell Lewis did only the 40, getting clocked in 4.65 seconds.

Fleming had a strong performance at the combine and Broyles is recovering from a knee injury that ended his season.
