LAMAR COUNTY, TX-- A two vehicle accident in Lamar County Tuesday morning sent two people to a Plano hospital.
Trooper Mark Tackett says, around 10 A.M. a minivan, driven by 25-year-old Reginald King of Louisiana, was traveling northbound on Highway 271, just south of Pattonville, when for an unknown reason he veered into the southbound lane and hit a semi.
King was pinned in his van, and firefighters used the jaws of life to remove him.
King and his passenger, 23-year-old Christopher Coleman also of Louisiana, were flown by air ambulance to medical center of Plano.
Both are listed in serious condition.
The semi driver and his passenger were treated at the scene and released.
