PARIS, TX -- Paris High School honored the 1988 state champion football team before the Wildcats' final home game Friday.
Thirty plus members of the team known as the Silver Crush were in attendance, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their state championship season. The honoring took place before the Wildcats played Liberty-Eylau for the district championship.

The training room in Wildcat Stadium's Field House will now be known as the Doug Wehrman Memorial Athletic Training Room.
