PARIS, TX-- The Paris-Lamar County Health District is offering a low cost, back to school shot clinic for students.
There will be four shot clinics before school starts, with the first one kicking off this Saturday at 10 A.M.
No appointments are needed, but the child must be 18 years old or younger and a parent must be with the student. Health department officials encourage parents not to wait until the last minute to get their kids shots.
"They have to have a shot record with them, a current shot record, so that way we make sure that we give all the right doses," said Carol Hill.
The student shot clinic will be held July 19th and 26th, as well as August 2nd and 9th, from 10 A.M.- 2 P.M.
In order for your child to qualify, the child's vaccines cannot be covered by insurance. Medicaid, as well as private pay, are accepted. The cost is $5.00 per child.
