Drug bust lands two Paris residents behind bars

LAMAR COUNTY, TX -- An ongoing investigation led to two Paris residents being arrested on drug charges.

Around three yesterday afternoon Lamar County Deputies, with the assistance of the Paris Police and Texas DPS Troopers, executed a search warrant on a home in the 1100 block of Belmont.

Authorities arrested 37-year-old Chad Anderson and 26-year-old Chelsei Lingle after finding a large amount of methamphetamine.

Both have been charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance over four grams and possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.

They're being held at the Lamar County Jail.
