PARIS, TX-- A mobile home caught fire over the weekend---sending a Paris firefighter to the hospital.
Fire Marshal Dale Maberry says, around 2:30 A.M. Sunday, firefighters responded to the 3700 Block of Pine Mill.
When they arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames, taking firefighters around two hours to put out.
The home was vacant and fire officials have not been able to get in contact with the owner of the rental unit.
Maberry says one Paris firefighter had to be taken to the hospital and undergo surgery for a broken ankle.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
