CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK-- A Choctaw County home is a total loss after a fire Monday morning.
Hugo Fire Chief, Ron Cloud, tells us the fire at East 2030 Road just north of Sawyer broke out around 10:45 Monday morning. He says when fire crews arrived the home was fully engulfed in flames. Fire crews were on scene for about 6 hours.
The family was not home at the time of the fire.
Cloud says the fire is not suspicious but the cause is still under investigation. Spencerville and Sawyer Volunteer Fire Departments responded.
