HONEY GROVE, TX-- A former secret service agent was in Honey Grove Tuesday night talking about his time protecting the Kennedy Family.
Mike Howard served as a secret agent for 14 years and protected President Kennedy, Johnson and Ford.
Tuesday night, he showed never before seen photos and talked about the hours leading up to President John F. Kennedy's assassination.
Its been 50 years, and Howard says he still doesn't know why people believe the conspiracy theories.
"I feel sorry for those people," said Mike Howard. "Why don't they just listen to what's going on its so simple; they don't want to pay attention to simplicity that this guy had a mental defect."
Mike Howard was able to speak tonight thanks to a grant the Bertha Voyer Memorial Library received from Humanities Texas.
