CHOCTAW COUNTY, OK -- A Choctaw County man is behind bars after deputies say he stabbed his wife and held her against her will.
Chief Deputy Larry Hendrix says sometime between 8 and 9 Tuesday morning, 45-year-old Terrence Thompson stabbed his wife in her arm then forced her into their home.
Hendrix says it wasn't until about six hours later that the wife was able to get out of the home and call for help. She was taken to the hospital for treatment but has since been released.
Thompson was arrested Wednesday and charged with kidnapping and aggravated domestic assault with a deadly weapon..
