PARIS, TX -- A Paris man charged with murder accepted a plea deal yesterday for a lesser charge.
62-year-old Thomas Bunch, who shot his daughter's boyfriend last July, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter with a deadly weapon.
Bunch received 10-years probation with deferred adjudication from District Judge Eric Clifford. Meaning if Bunch successfully completes his probation there will not be a guilty plea on his record, however if he fails, he can be sentenced up to 20 years in prison.
