GREENVILLE, TX -- One person was injured when an SUV struck a Hunt County ambulance in Greenville this morning.
Greenville PIO Autumn Barton says around 9 a.m. the ambulance was headed northbound on Wesley Street enroute to a call, when an SUV, heading westbound on Joe Ramsey Boulevard, struck the side of the ambulance, flipping the ambulance on its side.
The paramedics inside the ambulance suffered minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital. While the driver of the SUV, an 82-year-old male from Quinlan, received injuries and was transported by a second ambulance to Hunt Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
The ambulance was not carrying a patient at the time of the accident.
